Now, we are looking for a Director of Business Development who can help us add to the accolades through strategic business growth.

We are looking for a charismatic professional with a track record of success and a passion for digital to help us grow through means beyond our already killer word of mouth. You will need to a be strategic thinker with persuasive presentation skills and the enthusiasm to get leads excited about working with our agency. You will lead the entire business development process including prospecting, RFPs, proposals and presentations, and networking. Here is an opportunity for you to excel in business development by working with senior management to build and finesse the business development program from the ground up.
To be considered for this position, you must have at least three to five years of proven sales/business development experience and a solid track record within a digital marketing agency environment.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- You will lead new business development efforts in North America, including outbound activities, client pitch presentations, and seamless transition of new business to client teams.
- Structure and drive systematic processes for marketing and business development.
- Ensure a strong new business pipeline at all times by proactively pursuing new business opportunities with current and prospective clients that meet the targeted client base set forth by senior management.
- Maintains accurate sales information the CRM database following established policies and standards to enable production of accurate and timely monthly and quarterly sales forecasts for senior management.
- Keeps senior management apprised of clients/prospective clients, their organizational environments and needs, prospective contracts and/or RFPs to ensure all business opportunities are explored.
- Research target companies, products, and markets.
Requirements:
Desired skills and experience
- A minimum of five years of experience in a digital interactive/on-line marketing communications or advertising agency environment in a senior sales or account management capacity.
- Be experienced with the use of CRM tools for tracking and managing leads.
- Must have a degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Must have extensive marketing or advertising industry knowledge focused in digital media sales.
- Strong computer and MAC skills, excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Keynote, PowerPoint, and the usual agency software suspects.
- Practiced in the use of social media tools such as Facebook and Twitter.
- Deep understanding of the digital landscape.
- Commitment to client service through integrity.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Highly skilled in customer relationship building.
- Impeccable references from former employers.
- Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities at a time.
- Team player, yet have the ability to work and think independently.
- Strong work ethic.
- Sense of ownership and willingness to get the job done.
- Ability to travel.

Sr. Digital Art Director - Contract
We work with a fantastic roster of both in-house and out-of-house folks and are currently looking to increase our list of 'go-to' Digital Art Director's that can work either remotely or in our Gastown offices. As an Art Director, you’re passionate about amazing ideas, and driven to find creative solutions with your concepts. Your design ideas go beyond the pixel, are able to not just 'paint' between the wireframe lines, and are able to add value and additional UI/UX design to the final product. You will need to need to work with the Creative Director, Strategist, and Technical Leads to translate creative concepts into visual solutions, matching innovative thinking with equally innovative execution.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Creative Director, Strategist and Interactive Producer to understand client's goals and target audiences for each individual project in order to create effective, innovative, standards-based and on-budget design solutions
- Provide a design point of view and communicates it to creative team; creates multiple design solutions for a given brief
- Take a leadership role when working or presenting work to creative team
- Work closely with the Information Architect/User Experience Designer to contribute to the navigational and functional flow of websites and applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic or Interactive Design preferred
- 4+ years in digital agency experience and designing interactive projects
- Expert level of knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign), HTML/XHTML, CSS and multimedia applications
- Exceptional design portfolio of recognizable work on top brands
- Ability to interact and collaborate with other departments within the agency to solve problems
- Creativity is an absolute must! You must successfully come up with effective design ideas that are visually arresting and conceptually engaging
- An eye for detail, typography, colour and knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of the web
- Required technical skills: Photoshop, Illustrator, knowledge of Flash and your tried and true process of creating design
- Able to estimate accurately on the effort required to meet the challenge of the brief
- Strong working knowledge of user experience design
Wouldn't hurt to have:
- If working remotely, plenty experience at it
- Skype for meetings
- Preferably in any North American time zone so we don't have to have 8am or 12am meetings
